This bootleg is my favorite of the listed bootleg cds. Not only because of its great sound, but because of its rarity. It is from their Fairweather Johnson Tour in Europe, right after the album came out. If your missing this one, try to get it. It's a soundboard recording. I have heard many different versions of "Drowning" and this one is one of the best. Darius sounds great and the crowd gets involved. Rating: A++

Not a bad bootleg, not bad at all. Two complaints. Firstly, the setlist for the first show is too short. Secondly, they include two acoustic versions of Sad Caper and Earth Stopped Cold At Dawn, consecutively. It's kind of annoying. They could've picked other songs. But the sound quality and the band's energy more than makes up for it. Rating: A

One of the favorite things to have in a collection are songs in their early stages. With that I also love collections with songs that have evolved. Green Deserts is just that kind of cd, with early Fairweather Johnson material such as a rare performance of Tucker's Town, Earth Stopped Cold At Dawn, and Be the One. Even Honeyscrew was played which the band in the CD calls "unhootie like" This CD though is a MUST have for anyone that is lucky enough to find it, the sound recording is excellent and the crowd is entergetic, both in sheperds empire and at the awards ceremonies. There are even 2 Fairweather acoustic recordings which make it the more rarer and enjoyable. Rating: A++
